Ingredients
  • ¼ cup red-wine vinegar
  • ¼ cup turbinado sugar (or brown sugar)
  • 2 tablespoons grated onion (grated on large holes of box grater)
  • ½ teaspoon minced garlic
  • ½ cup canola oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds, lightly toasted
  • 1 (11 ounces) package baby spinach or mixed greens
  • 1 pound strawberries, sliced
  • ½ cup sliced almonds, toasted
  • 59.15ml red-wine vinegar
  • 59.15ml turbinado sugar (or brown sugar)
  • 25.56g grated onion (grated on large holes of box grater)
  • 2.13g minced garlic
  • 118.29ml canola oil
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 12.78g sesame seeds, lightly toasted
  • 1 (311.84g) package baby spinach or mixed greens
  • 453.59g strawberries, sliced
  • 118.29ml sliced almonds, toasted

Preparation
STEP 1

In a mixing bowl, combine vinegar, sugar, onion and garlic. Whisk until sugar dissolves.

STEP 2

Add oil and whisk until well combined. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Stir in sesame seeds.

STEP 3

In a large salad bowl, toss greens, strawberries and most of almonds. Add dressing and toss to coat.

STEP 4

Adjust seasonings to taste. Garnish with reserved almonds. Serve immediately.
