Ingredients
  • 1 (16 ounces) can refried beans (pinto or black)
  • 2 tablespoons taco seasoning (1 ounce pack)
  • 8 ounces sour cream
  • 8 ounces guacamole
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese (Mexican blend or cheddar jack combo)
  • 1 cup diced tomatoes
  • 2 ¼ ounces can sliced black olives, drained
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • Tortilla chips
  • 1 (453.59g) can refried beans (pinto or black)
  • 25.56g taco seasoning (1 ounce pack)
  • 226.8g sour cream
  • 226.8g guacamole
  • 236.59ml shredded cheddar cheese (Mexican blend or cheddar jack combo)
  • 236.59ml diced tomatoes
  • 63.79g can sliced black olives, drained
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • Tortilla chips

Preparation
STEP 1

Mix or whip refried beans with taco seasoning. Layer in the bottom of a medium sized baking dish.

STEP 2

Over beans spread sour cream and then guacamole.

STEP 3

Sprinkle with shredded cheese, then diced tomatoes, sliced black olives, and lastly green onions.

STEP 4

Serve immediately with tortilla chips or cover and refrigerate until party time.

Options

A 7-layer dip can quickly become an 8, 9 or even 10-layer dip by adding shredded lettuce, salsa, pickled jalapenos, or for a hearty version even cooked seasoned ground meat. You do you!

Have roasted hatch chiles on hand? Try mixing in a 1/2 cup of chopped roasted chiles in with your beans for extra flavor and spice!
