This delicious, yet simple glaze works well on so many types of fish, not just cod. Our favorite happens to be black cod, but you do you! Quick and easy for a busy weeknight.
Preparation
STEP 1
Combine miso, water, mirin, vinegar, soy sauce, and brown sugar in a small saucepan.
STEP 2
Cook over medium heat until it slightly thickens, about 3 minutes. Set aside to cool.
STEP 3
Preheat broiler to high.
STEP 4
Place cod filets on foil lined baking sheet. Generously brush fillets with cooled miso glaze. Marinate at room temperature for 10-15 minutes.
STEP 5
Broil fish for 10 minutes, rotating the pan halfway, until glaze caramelizes and fish flakes easily with a fork. Serve with your favorite sides!
