Ingredients
- 12 jalapeño peppers
- 1 (8 ounces) block cream cheese
- 12 strips of bacon, cut in half crosswise
- ½ cup pepper jelly or your favorite seedless fruit preserves

This portable appetizer is great for a party, game day, happy hour or low-carb snack. Spicy, creamy, smoky and a little sweet, they may become your next obsession.
Preparation
STEP 1
Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a sheet pan with foil or parchment paper and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
STEP 2
Slice jalapeños in half lengthwise and remove the seeds. Fill each half with cream cheese.
STEP 3
Wrap each half with a piece of bacon, secure with a toothpick and place on prepared sheet pan.
STEP 4
Bake 20-30 minutes until bacon is cooked but not too crispy.
STEP 5
Remove bites from oven and heat broiler to high. Drain any liquid from pan. Warm jelly in the microwave for 20-30 seconds until it melts a bit. Glaze each bite with jelly. Return to oven and broil for 2-3 minutes. Serve hot or at room temperature.
