Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
Lightly oil and season the corn with salt and pepper. Grill, turning occasionally, until lightly charred on all sides, about 8–10 minutes. Remove from the grill and allow to cool enough to handle.
Lightly oil the cut sides of the stone fruit. Grill the fruit cut-side down for 2–3 minutes, or until grill marks appear and the fruit is lightly softened. Remove and let cool slightly.
Slice the grilled stone fruit into wedges and cut the corn kernels from the cob.
Arrange the greens on a large serving platter or divide among individual plates. Top with the grilled stone fruit, corn, pickled red onions, and crumbled goat cheese or feta. Drizzle generously with blackberry vinaigrette just before serving and toss lightly if desired. Serve immediately and enjoy!
Use whatever stone fruit you prefer. Peaches, nectarines, apricots, and plums all work well.
For added crunch, finish with toasted sliced almonds, pecans, or pistachios.
The fruit, corn, and onions can be prepared ahead of time and refrigerated until ready to assemble. Dress the salad just before serving.
Our blackberry vinaigrette is a natural match for this salad, but raspberry, champagne, or balsamic vinaigrettes are equally delicious alternatives.
