Add a bit of flair to your game day celebration with this vegetarian take on wings! Great for dipping in a buffalo hot sauce.

Preparation
STEP 1

Whisk together 1 ½ cups flour, salt, paprika, cayenne & pepper.

STEP 2

In separate bowl mix together beer and baking powder. This will cause beer to release CO2 and fizz quite a bit. Mix flour mixture with beer/baking powder mixture.

STEP 3

Heat 4 cups of oil to 350 degrees.

STEP 4

In a separate bowl, mix remaining flour and season well with salt and pepper. Coat cauliflower in flour, salt and pepper mix, shaking off excess, then dip into batter. Try to get excess drips of batter off of cauliflower for a lighter fry.

STEP 5

Fry cauliflower until golden brown and crispy. This shouldn’t take more than 3 or 4 mins.

STEP 6

Remove from oil and place on a rack over paper towels and allow to dry. Toss in your favorite sauce or serve with a side of it for dipping!

Options

Alternatively, your cauliflower bites can be cooked in an Air-fryer or oven.

Air-Fryer:

Coat tray well with pan spray, spread your battered cauliflower pieces so they are not touching. Air fry at 350° for 15 minutes.

Oven:

Preheat oven to 425°. Bake battered cauliflower on a well-greased parchment or foil-lined baking sheet for about 20 minutes, flipping halfway.
