Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups butter, softened
- 2 cups packed brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 (15 ounces) can solid-pack pumpkin
- 1 egg
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 4 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups quick-cooking oats
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups (12 oz bag) semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 354.88ml butter, softened
- 473.18ml packed brown sugar
- 236.59ml white sugar
- 1 (425.24g) can solid-pack pumpkin
- 1 egg
- 8.52g vanilla extract
- 946.35ml all-purpose flour
- 473.18ml quick-cooking oats
- 8.52g baking soda
- 8.52g ground cinnamon
- 4.26g salt
- 473.18ml (12 oz bag) semi-sweet chocolate chips

Preparation
STEP 1
Preheat oven to 350°F.
STEP 2
In a large mixing bowl, cream butter and sugars.
STEP 3
Beat in the pumpkin, egg, and vanilla.
STEP 4
In another bowl, combine flour, oats, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually add to creamed butter mixture. Stir in chocolate chips.
STEP 5
Drop by tablespoonfuls 2 inches apart onto ungreased baking sheets.
STEP 6
Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.
Options
In addition, or in replace of the chocolate chips try adding butterscotch chips, white chocolate chips, or for extra Halloween fun M&Ms.
