Does anything beat freshly baked chocolate chip cookies? We think not! This recipe is successful made with a gluten-free 1:1 flour blend if you need it! Try using one of our T&C Everyday chocolate bars for the chips! They add an extra level of delicious!
Ingredients
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 cup salted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 cups chocolate chips or chopped chocolate chunks
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts, optional
  • Flaky sea salt for sprinkling, optional
  • 709.76ml all-purpose flour
  • 6.39g baking soda
  • 4.26g kosher salt
  • 236.59ml salted butter, softened
  • 236.59ml granulated sugar
  • 236.59ml brown sugar
  • 8.52g vanilla extract
  • 2 eggs
  • 473.18ml chocolate chips or chopped chocolate chunks
  • 236.59ml chopped walnuts, optional
  • Flaky sea salt for sprinkling, optional

Preparation
STEP 1

Preheat oven to 375°F.

STEP 2

In a medium bowl whisk together flour, baking soda and salt. Set aside.

STEP 3

In another large bowl with handheld mixer (or stand-up mixer with paddle attachment) cream butter and sugars together until light and fluffy.

STEP 4

Add vanilla and mix.

STEP 5

Add eggs one at a time, mixing between.

STEP 6

Mix in dry ingredients until just combined.

STEP 7

Stir in chocolate and nuts, if using, until evenly dispersed.

STEP 8

Bake for about 10 minutes or until just starting to brown around the edges. Don’t over bake!! Cool on pan for 5 minutes before transferring to a rack to finish cooling. Sprinkle with sea salt flakes if you choose.
