Simple Holiday Stuffing

- ½ cup butter
- 1 yellow onion, chopped
- 4 ribs celery, chopped
- 2 teaspoons poultry seasoning
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 bag Our Own Rustic Stuffing (seasoned or unseasoned)

It doesn’t take much to have a delicious stuffing on your holiday table, sometimes simple is best!
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Melt butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add onions, celery, poultry seasoning and salt. Cook until softened. About 5 minutes.
Add Rustic Stuffing and mix with buttery cooked vegetables.
Add broth and mix to coat.
Transfer stuffing to buttered baking dish. Cover with foil and bake for 25-30 minutes. Uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes to form a slight crust. Serve hot.
*For an added time saver use our pre-diced onion and celery.
Some possible additions include:
-Chopped fresh herbs (such as parsley, thyme, rosemary, sage)
-Dried cranberries or raisins
-Chopped nuts (such as pecans, walnuts, or pistachios)
-Roasted chestnuts
-Cooked mushrooms
-Cooked sausage
-Cooked chopped bacon
-Egg (beaten into the broth for a fluffier texture)
