Pancit is a traditional Filipino noodle dish made with Bihon rice stick noodles. You can add chicken, pork, shrimp or keep it vegetarian. All are delicious!
Preparation
STEP 1
In a large wok or skillet heat oil to medium-high heat. Add sliced meat. Season with salt and pepper and cook until browned, about 3-5 minutes.
STEP 2
To the pan add onion, garlic, cabbage, carrot and celery. Toss and cook until veggies just start to get a little color about 3 minutes.
STEP 3
Add noodles to the pan along with chicken broth, soy sauce and fish sauce. Give it a good toss to be sure all the flavors are dispersed. Cook for about 5-8 minutes more until noodles are tender. Taste to check for seasoning, garnish with sliced green onions and serve with sliced lemon.
