Is it possible to make pizza more fun? This spooky treat is as much fun to make as it is to eat – play with the ingredients to make it your own. The possibilities are endless.

Preparation
STEP 1

Preheat oven to 400°F.

STEP 2

On a lightly floured surface, divide the doughball in half with a dough scraper or knife. Knead, stretch and shape each half into long ovals, about 12-inches long and 10-inches wide.

STEP 3

Spread your pizza sauce in the middle, leaving about 3 inches on both sides. Layer cheese and pepperoni over the sauce.

STEP 4

Along the sides of the pizza, cut one-inch strips with kitchen shears or a knife, close but not all the way to where the sauce and toppings are.

STEP 5

Starting from the bottom of the pizza, tuck up the excess dough over the toppings and begin crisscrossing the strips over and across the pizza, overlapping like a shoelace. Some gaps are fine, just like a mummy’s wrapping.

STEP 6

When you reach the “face,” create more of a half-circle opening, exposing the pepperoni and cheese. Finish wrapping, and create a bit of a twist at the top of the pizza and fold it over. Add two sliced olives as eyes and place in the oven.

STEP 7

Cook for 15-18 minutes or until golden brown. Admire your spooky pizza, then slice and enjoy!
