Ingredients
- ½ cup soy sauce
- ¼ cup rice vinegar
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- ½ cup gochujang (Korean red pepper paste)
- 8 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tablespoons minced fresh ginger
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 3 pounds baby back ribs
- ¼ cup honey
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Green onion, sliced thin for garnish
- 118.29ml soy sauce
- 59.15ml rice vinegar
- 25.56g sesame oil
- 118.29ml gochujang (Korean red pepper paste)
- 8 garlic cloves, minced
- 25.56g minced fresh ginger
- 1 large onion, finely chopped
- 1360.78g baby back ribs
- 59.15ml honey
- Sesame seeds, for garnish
- Green onion, sliced thin for garnish
Korean-inspired flavors add a sweet and spicy twist to ribs.
Preparation
STEP 1
Combine soy sauce, rice vinegar, sesame oil, gochujang, garlic, ginger and onion in a large bowl to make marinade. Pour over ribs and let them marinate at least four hours.
STEP 2
Preheat oven to 325°F.
STEP 3
Place ribs in a baking dish and reserve marinade. Bake ribs for 2 ½ - 3 hours.
STEP 4
Pour leftover marinade into a saucepan, add honey and bring to a boil.
STEP 5
Remove ribs from oven and turn on broiler. Pour honey glaze over ribs and broil 5-10 minutes. Garnish with sesame seeds and green onions.
Options
The gochujang brings quite a bit of heat to this recipe. It you prefer milder spice reduce to 1/4 cup.
