Kulfi is a traditional Indian ice cream that is commonly served by street vendors for a sweet cardamom spiced frozen treat.
Ingredients
  • 1 ¼ cups evaporated milk
  • 1 ¼ cups sweetened condensed milk
  • 16 ounces container whipped topping
  • 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
  • ½ cup crushed pistachios
  • ⅛ teaspoon rose water (optional)
  • 295.74ml evaporated milk
  • 295.74ml sweetened condensed milk
  • 453.59g container whipped topping
  • 4.26g ground cardamom
  • 118.29ml crushed pistachios
  • 0.53g rose water (optional)

Kulfi is a traditional Indian ice cream that is commonly served by street vendors for a sweet cardamom spiced frozen treat.

Preparation
STEP 1

Combine first three ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.

STEP 2

Add cardamom, pistachios and rose water and pulse for another few seconds to combine.

STEP 3

Pour into ice pop molds or a large plastic container. Freeze for eight hours and serve as pops or scoop like ice cream.

Options

This recipe is delicious to be plant based using coconut milk-based products for the evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk, and whipped topping.

Recipe requires 8 hours to freeze and set.
