Crostini refers to an Italian appetizer of thin sliced toasted bread with toppings. This flavor combination is simple, quick and perfectly delicious!

Preparation
STEP 1

Preheat oven to 425°F.

STEP 2

Lay sliced baguette in a single layer on a baking sheet. Drizzle lightly with olive oil on both sides. Sprinkle with sea salt. Bake for 5-8 minutes until crostini are golden and crisp. Set aside to cool.

STEP 3

In a food processor whip feta while adding a small bit of olive oil or lemon juice until you come to a smooth and spreadable consistency. Be mindful to not overdo it. A little goes a long way! You can also add 1 tablespoon chopped shallots, chopped fresh herbs, and or a small amount of lemon zest to taste.

STEP 4

Spread cheese onto crostini. Top with a drizzle of spicy honey and chopped pistachios.

Options

You can substitute feta with goat cheese or ricotta. Try with adding sliced prosciutto to the crostini. Regular honey can be used in place of spicy honey.
