- 2 pounds carne asada-cut beef (or skirt steak)
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- ½ teaspoon dried Mexican oregano, crushed
- ½ teaspoon chile powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- 907.18g carne asada-cut beef (or skirt steak)
- 25.56g vegetable oil
- 2.13g dried Mexican oregano, crushed
- 2.13g chile powder
- 2.13g salt
- 1.07g black pepper
- 59.15ml orange juice
- 25.56g lime juice
- 12.78g red wine vinegar
One of the most beloved Mexican-style dishes of all time! Perfect for tacos, burritos and more. The marinating time is long, the cook time is short, the outcome is timeless.
Preparation
STEP 1
Place beef in a shallow glass baking dish.
STEP 2
Combine remaining ingredients and pour marinade over beef. Cover and refrigerate for several hours, mixing and rotating occasionally.
STEP 3
Preheat grill. Drain beef, reserving marinade. Place on hot grill. Spoon reserved marinade over beef several times as it cooks.
STEP 4
Grill for 2 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness.
Options
Serve with warm tortillas, cilantro, lime wedges, radish slices and avocado if desired, along with your favorite salsa or hot sauce.
