Burrata is like mozzarella on the outside, but the inside is filled with stracciatella and cream providing its unique creamy texture. This quick and easy flatbread can be made any time, any day, and highlights this glorious cheese.
Ingredients
  • 2 prepared flatbreads (naan or pita work well)
  • ½ cup pizza sauce (or ¼ olive oil)
  • 8 ounces Burrata, divided
  • ½ cup halved tri-color cherry tomatoes
  • Fresh basil leaves
  • Optional toppings:
  • Roasted garlic
  • Arugula
  • Prosciutto
  • Balsamic glaze

  • 118.29ml pizza sauce (or ¼ olive oil)
  • 226.8g Burrata, divided
  • 118.29ml halved tri-color cherry tomatoes
  • Fresh basil leaves

Preparation
STEP 1

Preheat oven to 400°F.

STEP 2

Divide and evenly spread pizza sauce or olive oil over each flatbread.

STEP 3

Top each with burrata, tomatoes, basil, and any additional toppings.

STEP 4

Place directly on oven rack and bake for about 8-11 minutes or until bread is crisp. Slice and serve.
