Blue Cheese and Walnut Spread

Ingredients
- 3 (8 ounces) packages cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup butter, softened
- ¼ pound (1/4 cup) blue cheese, crumbled
- ½ cup chopped walnuts, toasted and cooled
- ½ cup chopped fresh chives
- 1 baguette, sliced in 1” rounds
- 1 apple of choice, sliced
- 1 pear of choice, sliced
- 3 (226.8g) packages cream cheese, softened
- 118.29ml butter, softened
- 113.4g (1/4 cup) blue cheese, crumbled
- 118.29ml chopped walnuts, toasted and cooled
- 118.29ml chopped fresh chives
- 1 baguette, sliced in 1” rounds
- 1 apple of choice, sliced
- 1 pear of choice, sliced
The flavor combinations are the star here – sweet, savory & salty richness in each bite! Experiment with different varieties of apples and pears to bring out tart & spicy notes!
Preparation
STEP 1
In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, butter, blue cheese, walnuts and chives. Mix well.
STEP 2
For best flavor, cover and refrigerate for 8 hours. Bring to room temperature before serving.
STEP 3
Spread on baguette slices, topping with apples and pears to serve.
