Preparation
STEP 1

Let pizza dough come to room temperature for 1 hour.

STEP 2

Preheat oven to 425°F.

STEP 3

Divide pizza dough into 4 pieces. With a rolling pin roll out one section at a time into a square-ish shape that is about a ¼” thick. Cut dough into small squares about 2-inches by 2-inches (doesn’t have to be perfect).

STEP 4

Add a small spoonful of pizza sauce into the center of the square along with pizza toppings of your choice being sure to leave an empty border of dough.

STEP 5

Fold dough over filling and pinch to close creating a small pizza pocket or “bite.”

STEP 6

Place prepared pizza bites onto a parchment lined sheet pan. Brush the tops with melted garlic butter.

STEP 7

Bake in preheated oven for about 10-12 minutes. Let cool slightly before eating.

Options

Pizza bites can be prepared through step 5 and then frozen for a future snack or meal! It’s best to freeze them fully on a sheet pan before transferring to a resealable bag.
