The sweet and sharp flavor of orange is a pleasant surprise when biting into a forkful of this perfectly cooked rice. Delicious paired with fish, chicken, beef, pork, stir-fry, or teriyaki.
Preparation
STEP 1
Heat the butter and oil in a medium saucepan. Add onion and dash of cayenne and sauté until onions are transparent.
STEP 2
Add the rice and sauté an additional 2 or 3 minutes.
STEP 3
Add the orange juice, zest and broth. Cover and cook over low heat for 20-25 minutes or until rice is tender. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
