Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
  • 1 cup diced sweet onions
  • Dash of cayenne
  • 2 ¼ cups long-grain rice
  • Juice and zest of 2 oranges
  • 3 ¾ cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • Salt and pepper
  • 12.78g extra-virgin olive oil
  • 12.78g unsalted butter
  • 236.59ml diced sweet onions
  • Dash of cayenne
  • 532.32ml long-grain rice
  • Juice and zest of 2 oranges
  • 887.21ml chicken or vegetable broth
  • Salt and pepper

Preparation
STEP 1

Heat the butter and oil in a medium saucepan. Add onion and dash of cayenne and sauté until onions are transparent.

STEP 2

Add the rice and sauté an additional 2 or 3 minutes.

STEP 3

Add the orange juice, zest and broth. Cover and cook over low heat for 20-25 minutes or until rice is tender. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
