Gnocchi are Italian pasta dumplings made with potatoes. Like soft little pillows, they’re wonderful for soaking up butter or sauce and utterly delicious.
Ingredients
  • 3 tablespoons room-temperature butter
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon minced fresh herbs (such as parsley, basil, dill, thyme, rosemary)
  • 1 (16 ounces) package fresh gnocchi
  • Olive oil
  • 1 ½ cups thinly sliced Brussels sprouts
  • ⅔ cup halved cherry tomatoes
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 38.34g room-temperature butter
  • 4.26g minced garlic
  • 12.78g minced fresh herbs (such as parsley, basil, dill, thyme, rosemary)
  • 1 (453.59g) package fresh gnocchi
  • Olive oil
  • 354.88ml thinly sliced Brussels sprouts
  • 157.73ml halved cherry tomatoes
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • Grated Parmesan cheese

Preparation
STEP 1

Combine butter, garlic and minced herbs. Season to taste with salt and pepper and set aside.

STEP 2

Cook gnocchi according to package instructions; drain and set aside.

STEP 3

Heat a large sauté pan over medium-high heat and lightly coat with olive oil. Add Brussels sprouts and tomatoes and stir frequently until sprouts are bright green and just tender.

STEP 4

Add gnocchi and butter; toss to combine. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

STEP 5

Serve hot, topped with grated Parmesan cheese.

Options

Recipe serves two dinner portions or four as a side dish. In place of the butter, garlic and herbs, you can substitute four tablespoons of your favorite prepared flavored butter.
