Ingredients
  • 1 (8 ounces) wheel of brie
  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed but chilled
  • 1 egg, beaten

Preparation
STEP 1

Preheat oven to 425˚F.

STEP 2

Roll out puff pastry and slightly trim corners. Place your chosen filling in the center of pastry and top with brie.

STEP 3

Fold pastry up around brie. Brush and seal with beaten egg.

STEP 4

Flip pastry over and place on a parchment-lined baking sheet. Brush top and sides with egg.

STEP 5

Bake about 20 minutes, let sit at least 10 minutes before serving.

Choose some of your favorite flavor combinations for the filling to make this your own –

  • Fig jam and sliced almonds

  • Caramelized onions with a touch of balsamic vinegar or brown sugar

  • Spicy jalapeño jelly

  • Green apples slices cooked in butter and brown sugar

  • Sour cherry spread, shaved chocolate and pistachios
