Ingredients
- 4 flatbreads (individual size such as pita, naan, or premade pizza dough)
- Olive oil
- 1 cup baby arugula
- 1 pear (ripe but still firm), thinly sliced
- 1 (8 ounces) steak, cooked to desired doneness, very thinly sliced
- ½ cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
- Balsamic vinegar
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper

- 236.59ml baby arugula
- 1 pear (ripe but still firm), thinly sliced
- 1 (226.8g) steak, cooked to desired doneness, very thinly sliced
- 118.29ml crumbled Gorgonzola cheese
- Balsamic vinegar
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Elevate autumn pears into a decadent appetizer or main course with fresh arugula and rich Gorgonzola cheese. Top your leftover steak, too.
Preparation
STEP 1
Preheat oven to 450°F. Place flatbreads on a foil or parchment paper lined baking sheet and brush with oil.
STEP 2
Top each flatbread with arugula, sliced pear, steak and gorgonzola.
STEP 3
Bake for about 8 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the crust lightly browned.
STEP 4
Drizzle with balsamic vinegar. Serve hot or at room temperature.
