Make a classic even more scrumptious by adding beautifully cooked salmon fillet and a simple basil aioli. Brings a little SEA to your BLT!!
Ingredients
  • Basil Aioli:
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • ½ cup basil leaves, chopped
  • Pinch of salt
  • 4 (4 ounces) boneless, skinless salmon fillets
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Artisanal sliced bread, baguette, or rolls, toasted
  • 8 cooked bacon slices
  • Lettuce leaves (romaine or butter)
  • Sliced tomato
  • Basil Aioli:
  • 236.59ml mayonnaise
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 0.5 lemon, juiced
  • 118.29ml basil leaves, chopped
  • Pinch of salt
  • 4 (113.4g) boneless, skinless salmon fillets
  • Olive oil
  • Salt and pepper
  • Artisanal sliced bread, baguette, or rolls, toasted
  • 8 cooked bacon slices
  • Lettuce leaves (romaine or butter)
  • Sliced tomato

Make a classic even more scrumptious by adding beautifully cooked salmon fillet and a simple basil aioli. Brings a little SEA to your BLT!!

Preparation
STEP 1

Preheat oven to 400°F or grill to medium-high heat.

STEP 2

Make aioli by combining mayonnaise, minced garlic, lemon juice, chopped basil and salt in a small bowl. Set aside.

STEP 3

Lightly oil salmon fillets and season with salt and pepper. Cook fish on a baking sheet in preheated oven or on grill for about 10 minutes or until it is just cooked.

STEP 4

Build sandwiches on toasted bread. Spread basil aioli on top and bottom half. Layer cooked salmon fillet, crispy bacon, lettuce, and sliced tomatoes. Serve and enjoy!
