Ingredients
  • 1 heart of romaine or ½ head iceberg lettuce
  • 4 ounces sliced turkey
  • 4 ounces sliced ham or mortadella
  • 4 ounces sliced salami
  • 4-6 slices cheese (provolone, Swiss, havarti, or pepperjack)
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • ¼ cup sliced red onion
  • ¼ cup sliced pepperoncini or banana peppers
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper
  • 4 sandwich rolls (French, hoagie, or sub)

  • 25.56g mayonnaise
  • 12.78g olive oil
  • 12.78g red wine vinegar
  • 4.26g dried Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper
  • 4 sandwich rolls (French, hoagie, or sub)

Preparation
STEP 1

On a large cutting board lay lettuce leaves and top with turkey, ham, salami, cheese, tomato, red onion, and peppers.

STEP 2

Using a large knife begin chopping all your ingredients together.

STEP 3

When about halfway chopped add mayonnaise, olive oil, red wine vinegar, dried Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Continue chopping until everything is mixed in bite sized pieces and coated with dressing.

STEP 4

Scoop into rolls and serve!

Options

Some other ingredients to try using include, Giardiniera, pickled red onions, sundried tomatoes, pickles, pepperoni, or your favorite Italian vinaigrette instead of oil, vinegar, and seasoning.
