Ingredients
  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • ½ cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 ½ cups flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 Hatch chiles, seeded and chopped (adjust for heat)
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • ½ cup chopped pecans
  • 102.24g unsalted butter, softened
  • 118.29ml granulated sugar
  • 118.29ml brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 4.26g vanilla
  • 354.88ml flour
  • 2.13g baking soda
  • 2.13g baking powder
  • 2.13g cinnamon
  • 2.13g kosher salt
  • 2 Hatch chiles, seeded and chopped (adjust for heat)
  • 236.59ml chocolate chips
  • 118.29ml chopped pecans

Preparation
STEP 1

Preheat oven to 350°F.

STEP 2

With a mixer or wooden spoon cream butter and sugars.

STEP 3

Add egg and vanilla.

STEP 4

Mix flour, baking soda, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Combine with wet ingredients.

STEP 5

Stir in chiles, chocolate chips, and pecans.

STEP 6

Scoop and roll dough into balls. Spread evenly on a parchment lined baking sheet leaving room for them to spread.

STEP 7

Bake for 11-14 minutes until bottom lightly browns but cookies are still soft. Cool before you enjoy!
