- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar, loosely packed
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons instant espresso or coffee
- 1 ¼ cups cocoa powder, sifted
- ½ cup flour
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup mini chocolate chips
- 3 eggs
- 236.59ml sugar
- 236.59ml brown sugar, loosely packed
- 236.59ml butter, melted
- 8.52g vanilla extract
- 38.34g instant espresso or coffee
- 295.74ml cocoa powder, sifted
- 118.29ml flour
- 2.13g salt
- 236.59ml mini chocolate chips
These soft and chewy brownies have the flavor and buzz of espresso to give you an extra burst of energy to enjoy your dessert any time of day.
Preparation
STEP 1
Preheat oven to 350˚F. Butter and flour a 8-inch square brownie pan.
STEP 2
Whisk together eggs, sugars, butter, vanilla and espresso until well combined.
STEP 3
In a separate bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, flour and salt.
STEP 4
Pour wet ingredients into flour mixture and mix with rubber spatula until just combined. Do not over-mix.
STEP 5
Fold in chocolate chips. Transfer batter to pan and spread evenly.
STEP 6
Bake for 40-45 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out with a few crumbs, but not wet. Cool for at least 20 minutes before cutting into squares.
Options
To make these brownies even more decadent, serve topped with whipped cream and a chocolate-covered coffee bean.
