No rBST (The FDA has determined there are no significant differences between milk from rBST treated cows and non-rBST treated cows). How Do We Make It Lactose Free? Our products are made from real dairy milk. To make them lactose free, we add an enzyme called lactase that breaks down the lactose into two digestible sugars. If you have lactose intolerance, you don't have enough lactase enzymes to digest lactose, and this can be really uncomfortable. So, we do this little step for you, and we're real sticklers about making sure it's done right. We test every batch to ensure it is actually lactose free, according to our strict standards.
