Ingredients
- 1 box short cut pasta
- Olive oil
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 2 tablespoons lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
- Salt and pepper
- 2 cans tuna, drained
- ½ red onion, diced
- 2 celery ribs, thinly sliced
- 1 cup frozen peas, thawed, optional
- 1 box short cut pasta

- 236.59ml mayonnaise
- 12.78g Dijon mustard
- 25.56g lemon juice
- 12.78g chopped fresh dill
- Salt and pepper
- 2 cans tuna, drained
- 0.5 red onion, diced
- 2 celery ribs, thinly sliced
- 236.59ml frozen peas, thawed, optional
Bring some retro flair to your table with this simple pasta salad. It has the perfect balance of nostalgia and pure flavor goodness.
Preparation
STEP 1
Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook pasta per package instructions. Drain, lightly coat with olive oil, and cool.
STEP 2
In a small bowl make dressing by mixing mayonnaise, Dijon, lemon juice, dill, salt and pepper. Set aside.
STEP 3
Add cooked cooled pasta to a large bowl. To that add tuna, red onion, celery and peas if using. Add dressing and mix until everything is incorporated. Taste to check for seasoning. Refrigerate until ready to serve! You can garnish with extra fresh dill before serving if you choose.
Options
Optional additions include: diced pickle or pickle relish, chopped hard boiled eggs, or capers.
