T&C EveryDay Ama’s Lemon Pasta with Shrimp

Ingredients
- 1 box T&C EveryDay Cavatappi
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 4 lemons, zested
- 2 lemons, juiced
- ⅓ cup heavy cream
- 1-2 teaspoons ground black pepper
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese (plus more for serving)
- 1 cup reserved pasta water
- 1 pound shrimp (peeled, deveined, tails removed) or shelled crab
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish
- 1 box T&C EveryDay Cavatappi
- 51.12g butter
- 4 lemons, zested
- 2 lemons, juiced
- 78.86ml heavy cream
- 1-2 teaspoons ground black pepper
- 118.29ml grated Parmesan cheese (plus more for serving)
- 236.59ml reserved pasta water
- 453.59g shrimp (peeled, deveined, tails removed) or shelled crab
- Chopped fresh parsley, for garnish

Preparation
STEP 1
Bring a large pot of salted water to boil and cook pasta per package instructions. Reserve 1 cup of pasta water before straining pasta.
STEP 2
Strain pasta and return pot to medium-low heat. Add butter to melt.
STEP 3
To melted butter, add lemon zest, lemon juice, and pepper. Stir and cook to bring out flavor. About 1-2 minutes.
STEP 4
Add cream and ½ cup of reserved pasta water.
STEP 5
Add shrimp (or crab) and cook until just done. You do not want to overcook!
STEP 6
Add pasta back to pot and mix to evenly coat. Add more pasta water if needed to build sauce.
STEP 7
Off heat, add parmesan cheese and parsley. Give it one more mix so every - thing is evenly dispersed. Serve with extra parmesan cheese and enjoy!
