Ingredients
- 2 ciabatta roll, cut in half
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 to 1 pound cooked steak of choice (New York, top sirloin, rib, or tenderloin)
- 4 ounces blue cheese, (Gorgonzola or Stilton work great)
- 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- Grated horseradish to taste
- ½ cup arugula
- Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
- 2 ciabatta roll, cut in half
- 25.56g butter
- 1/2 to 1 pound cooked steak of choice (New York, top sirloin, rib, or tenderloin)
- 113.4g blue cheese, (Gorgonzola or Stilton work great)
- 51.12g mayonnaise
- Grated horseradish to taste
- 118.29ml arugula
- Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
This deliciously simple sandwich is a great way to use leftover steak, making lunch a special occasion.
Preparation
STEP 1
Butter ciabatta rolls and toast lightly in a skillet on moderate heat. Allow to cool when done
STEP 2
Combine mayonnaise and horseradish and mix well.
STEP 3
Slice steak ¼ inch thick.
STEP 4
Spread each side of the ciabatta with the horseradish mayonnaise and crumble the blue cheese onto the bottom half of the bread. Place the steak on the cheese, top with arugula and finish with the top of ciabatta bun.
