Ingredients
- 1 ½ pounds medium raw peeled and deveined shrimp
- 6 ounces Our Own jerk sauce, divided
- Oil
- Salt and black pepper
- 8 Hawaiian hot dog buns or buns of choice, toasted
- Mayonnaise
- 2 cups coleslaw or shredded cabbage
- 1 ½ cups prepared mango or pineapple salsa
- Scotch Bonnet hot sauce or your favorite hot sauce
- 680.39g medium raw peeled and deveined shrimp
- 170.1g Our Own jerk sauce, divided
- Oil
- Salt and black pepper
- 8 Hawaiian hot dog buns or buns of choice, toasted
- Mayonnaise
- 473.18ml coleslaw or shredded cabbage
- 354.88ml prepared mango or pineapple salsa
- Scotch Bonnet hot sauce or your favorite hot sauce
Elevate everyday shrimp into crispy flavor bombs with our Deli's jerk sauce. Perfect for a late summer spread.
Preparation
STEP 1
In a small bowl, toss shrimp with half of the jerk sauce. Allow to marinate for 30 minutes.
STEP 2
Heat a small amount of oil in a non-stick skillet over medium high heat. Add shrimp to pan and season lightly with salt and pepper. Sear shrimp until very browned and crispy.
STEP 3
Assemble sandwiches by spreading mayonnaise on buns, dividing shrimp between buns. Evenly drizzle remaining jerk sauce on shrimp then top with coleslaw or cabbage and salsa. Serve with hot sauce of choice.
