Heave on quality; light on impact
Nordic Halibut does things a bit differently—and you can taste that difference. Their halibut, known for its firm texture, mild and slightly sweet flavor, is a favorite among chefs and seafood lovers alike.
So what’s the secret? It starts with carefully controlled hatching. Eggs are raised in a land-based hatchery until the young fish are ready for the open sea. Once they reach about 150 grams, they’re moved to open-sea farms, where they grow up in conditions that mimic their natural habitat. This thoughtful blend of early care and wild-like living helps create consistent quality.
Sustainability that runs deep
From hatchery to harvest, Nordic Halibut protects the ocean every step of the way. With full traceability and eco-friendly practices, even their locally sourced crab meal feed supports healthy growth, rich flavor, and a lighter footprint.
Location matters
Nordic Halibut’s farms sit where the Atlantic Ocean meets Norway’s west coast. With its pristine waters and natural deep-sea conditions, it’s the perfect environment for healthy, happy halibut.
