Potential presence of black plastic/rubber pieces
We regret to inform our valued guests that Town & Country Markets is conducting a voluntary product withdrawal of Bulk Foods CB’s Nuts Organic Dry Roasted Shelled Peanuts and Bulk Foods CB’s Nuts Organic Fresh Ground Peanut Butter sold in small plastic containers (ground by employees or guests using the bulk department grinder station).
These products may have come in contaminated with foreign material, specifically pieces of black plastic/rubber of varying size and shape. If consumed, the pieces could potentially cause a choking response. As soon as we discovered the issue, we took immediate steps to remove the remaining affected products from sale. No injuries have been reported.
Product Details
Affected products cannot be identified using sell by dates printed on the containers. The issue is isolated only to product sold between Tuesday February 10, 2026 and Wednesday February 18, 2026 across five of our markets: Poulsbo, Bainbridge, Shoreline, Ballard and Mill Creek for Bulk Foods CB’s Nuts Organic Dry Roasted Shelled Peanuts and Bulk Foods CB’s Nuts Organic Fresh Ground Peanut Butter sold in small plastic containers. Products sold on any other date are not impacted.

If you purchased these products, you should not consume them. You are welcome to return them to any of our locations for a full refund.
