Our Party Centerpieces are the “rock stars,” so to speak, with premium selections of Charcuterie, Antipasto, Specialty Cheeses and Roasted Vegetables sitting oh-so-pretty on handsome wooden boards. Each board serves about 35 to 40 guests. I guarantee you’ll get compliments.

I don’t know if it was the second-straight winter of record-setting rain fall we had, but we’re just really excited about grilling this year. All month we’re calling out some of our favorite grilling foods and accompaniments all across our markets.

Follow your Market on Facebook, or look for signs in your market, calling out our special outdoor grilling events where you can see and taste some of our favorite grilling foods.

Copper River Sockeye Running Full Speed

Two weeks ago, I talked about how the first Copper River salmon run was a bit on the slow side this year. That’s especially true for the King salmon. But there’s good news! We’ve got plenty of amazing Copper River Sockeye salmon to enjoy this week. So much so that we’re featuring it on this week’s Big Board Buys for just $17.98 lb. That’s a savings of $7 lb. on some of the finest salmon available on earth!

Not sure if you’re ready to take the plunge with seafood this fancy? I’ve pulled a few salmon recipes from our extensive archive that’ll steer you in the right direction. When it comes to food as flavorful as Copper River salmon, I like to let the natural flavors do most of the heavy lifting.

Cheese Corner

Our very own cheese whiz, Shauna Howell, offers up a cheese worth discovering.

Cambozola Black Label: With its creamy Brie texture and light hints of blue, you’re probably already familiar with Blue Label Cambozola.

The Black Label is the sassy big sister from Champignon out of Germany. It has more aggressive blue streaks throughout the triple cream paste, and the soft gray mold on the exterior adds a layer of nuance to the flavor. In fact, I liken it to a delicious blue butter and love to use it on steaks or to melt over pasta.

It’s delicious with a drizzle of honey over the cheese and a cold glass of bubbly in hand.
