Soda Pop Glaze for Ham

Ingredients

+ Add to Shopping List
  • 12 ounces soda (cola, root beer, ginger ale, orange soda, etc.)
  • 1/4 cup mustard
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves, optional
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Directions

Mix together in a medium bowl to form a glaze.
Set mixture aside until ready to glaze ham.

This glaze is suitable for a 5- to 7-pound cooked ham. Use for basting lightly during cooking, and then to thickly coat ham during last 20-30 minutes of cooking. See separate recipe for baking ham.
