  • 1 1/4 pounds ground beef
  • 1/2 pound chorizo sausage (bulk or if links, remove casings)
  • 1/2 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • 1 (4 ounce) can mild green chiles, drained
  • 1 small red onion, finely diced
  • 1 cup guacamole
  • 4-6 burger buns


Stir together ground beef, sausage, cheese, chiles and onion.
Season with salt and pepper.
Form into 4-6 patties.
Grill or broil burgers to desired doneness.
Serve hot on burger buns, topped with guacamole.
