Shrimp Yakisoba

  • Vegetable or peanut oil
  • 1 pound small shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup thinly sliced mushrooms
  • 2 cups shredded cabbage
  • 2 pounds fresh yakisoba noodles
  • 2/3 cup yakisoba sauce
  • 1/2 cup water


Heat wok to high and coat with oil. Add shrimp; stir until just cooked through. Remove from wok and set aside. Add onion and mushrooms to wok; stir-fry until onion is tender. Add cabbage; stir just until cabbage wilts. Add noodles, yakisoba sauce and water. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes or until noodles are heated through.
Serve immediately.
