Pomegranate and Brown Sugar-Glazed Ham

  • 1 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1/2 cup pomegranate molasses
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 (12-15 pound) smoked, pre-cooked or spiral-cut ham


Mix sugar, juice, molasses and cloves together in a medium bowl to form a thick paste. Set aside until ready to glaze ham.
Bake ham according to size and package directions.
Score top of ham with a diamond pattern if desired.
During final 20 minutes of baking, brush ham with glaze, then continue to cook for 10 minutes and glaze again.
Cook for 10 more minutes.
Remove from oven and glaze a final time.
Tent with foil until ready to eat.
Heat any remaining glaze and serve with ham.
