- 3/4 cup brewed espresso or coffee
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 1/2 pound semisweet chocolate, chopped
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
Heat espresso and sugar in fondue pot over low heat.
Slowly add chocolate and butter while stirring.
Stir until chocolate melts, then add vanilla.
Serve warm. Serving suggestions for dipping include: angel food cake, pound cake, marshmallows, bananas, strawberries, apples, dried fruit - anything you like!
