Ingredients

  • 2 cups almond milk
  • 1 tablespoon ground turmeric
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 star anise
  • 1 teaspoon whole cloves
  • Honey to taste (optional)

Directions

Add the almond milk to a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the turmeric, ginger, pepper, cinnamon, anise and cloves and whisk to combine. Heat for 4-5 minutes until steaming.

Strain through a fine mesh strainer. Sweeten to taste with honey.  Serve warm or over ice.
