Fresh Tuna Salad

  • 1/2 pound fresh tuna (ahi or albacore), cut into 1-inch chunks
  • 1 tablespoon chopped red onion
  • 2 tablespoons chopped celery
  • 1/4 cup (or to taste) mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • Salt and pepper to taste


Bring 2-3 cups salted water or broth to a gentle simmer. Add tuna and simmer 2-3 minutes, or until just cooked through. Remove and cool.
Combine remaining ingredients in a medium bowl and mix well. Flake cooked tuna into bowl and gently combine. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
Serve on bread, crackers, in a wrap or as part of a salad.
