- 2 large ripe avocados
- 3 Roma tomatoes, seeded and diced
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1/2 - 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin, or to taste
- Juice of 1 lime, or to taste
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Mash avocado and add remaining ingredients.
Adjust seasoning to taste.
Other great additions: your favorite salsa, black beans, roasted corn, chili powder, minced green chiles, etc.
