- 6 tomatillos, husks removed, washed and halved
- 1/2 cup chopped white onion
- 1 clove garlic, peeled
- 1 serrano chile, halved and seeded
- 1/2 bunch cilantro, washed and towel dried
- 2 tablespoons lime juice
- 1 avocado, peeled, seeded and quartered
Place tomatillos, onion, garlic, serrano chile, cilantro and lime juice in a food processor. Process until smooth. Add avocado and pulse a few times, so it is still chunky. Season with salt and pepper.
