- Albacore or Ahi Tuna
- Recommended serving size is 6 to 8 ounces per person
Let fish rest at room temperature for 30 minutes before cooking.
Grill or Pan Sear: 1-2 minutes per side over medium-high heat
Note: While tuna is best served rare, experts recommend freezing it before cooking, as frost kills any parasites the raw fish might contain (this is suggested for any seafood that is to be served raw or rare).
If the tuna has not been previously frozen before cooking, we recommend cooking it to medium, rather than rare, doneness.
