Ginger-Sesame Asparagus

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch asparagus, trimmed and sliced into 2-inch pieces
  • 2 tablespoons hoisin sauce
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 2 teaspoons minced ginger
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 2 teaspoons toasted sesame seeds

Directions

Mix together hoisin, rice vinegar and sesame oil.
Heat vegetable oil in a sauté pan.
Add ginger and garlic and stir-fry for 30 seconds.
Add asparagus and hoisin mixture. Stir-fry until asparagus is crisp-tender, about 3-4 minutes.
Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve hot, room temperature or refrigerated.
